Our library is located at 1223 Kalmia St. We have a large collection of research and history books, periodicals, microfilm, microfiche, and family histories. In addition to this we have the New Era, the local newspaper, in hardbound books from 1947 to 2015 and several file cabinets of obituaries in alphabetical order.
We have 3 computers available for family research at a minimal fee: Members $1.00 per visit or you may purchase a computer card for $10 which is good for the calendar year; Non-members $2.00 per person per visit or you may purchase a computer card for $20 which is good for the calendar year.
There are 1 color and 2 black and white laser copiers. Copies/printouts are 10-25 cents per sheet.
Use of the library is free and open to the public. Our hours of operation are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, We are Closed
Appointments may be made to visit the library during closed days. Contact the library to make arrangements.
